This year the Libertarian Days will take place from 11.-17.09 at different locations in Dresden
That means a whole week full of program, a week full of anarchism. Look forward to lectures, workshops, bookstands, films, as well as delicious vegan food, exchanging discussions and practical implementation.
So, whether this is the first time you’ve heard of anarchism or you’ve had LiTa on your calendar for years, come and bring your friends!
On the weekend of 15-17.09 the Libertarian Days will again take place together with the Datenspuren. The Datenspuren are a series of events of the Chaos Computerclub Dresden (C3D2). Starting on Friday, the events will take place at the Zentralwerk in Dresden. The courtyard of the Zentralwerk is a great place to be! Besides the program of the Libertarian Days there will be several info- and bookstands waiting for you and maybe there will even be crepes!

Corona
Corona is not over!
The number of cases are increasing!
The virus is dangerous!
Masks keep you protected!
And Corona is not a cold but a potentially life-threatening viral infection. No one wants to catch this crap (again). The virus is especially dangerous for some of us who have to take certain medications, have other pre-existing conditions, are old or are very young….
Therefore: For most of us it is probably self-evident for a long time but…
…if you have cold symptoms….
…typical Covid symptoms (i.e. aching limbs, fever, cough, sore throat,…) …
… you even have a positive rapid antigen test…
STAY AT HOME!
Please let us try to look out for each other. Let’s try to have conversations with each other so we can listen to each other’s needs. Masks are still a very effective protection against the virus, and if people in your group or environment feel more comfortable with a mask- the more who wear one, the safer we all are <3
If you don’t have a mask with you and can’t find one in your pockets from last fall- you can get one at our info stands for a donation or for free!
Awareness
A bunch of unique people with different life orientations, experiences and stories will meet at the events. We would like to do more justice to this diversity. This requires awareness of one’s own position and privileges, as well as openness to the positions of others. We, the organizing team, think it is important to think about the topic of awareness, because we want everyone to feel comfortable at the libertarian days.
Awareness is not only the task of the organizing team, but of all participants: that means for all of us (including participants of the LiTa Days) that we are attentive: Pay attention to your limits and those of others. This means to deal consciously with your own privileges and existing power structures and to reflect on your own prejudices and stereotypes. In discussions, no matter how heated they are, pay attention to a balanced participation.
There will be an awareness team on site at some of the LiTa events to raise awareness and be available for you. The awareness team will be recognizable for participants by conspicuous armbands.
Please feel free to contact us at any time!
We are still looking for people to join the awareness team. If you would like to join, please come to one of the following awareness meetings or contact us by email at lita_dd@systemli.org.
Barrier awareness
In our planning for the events, we try to think about possible limitations in terms of mobility (wheelchair, difficulty walking), language (translation), age (not being of age), etc.
This year it is not easy for us to meet this demand, because there are not so many people in our preparation team.
You will find for each event a spatial description, a content classification of the topic and the language in which it will take place.
