Rally 24.05: Free Maja! Free Hanna! Freedom for all Antifas!

Rally May 24, 15:00 Robinienhain, JVA Hammerweg

Maja is still in prison in Dresden. But now in extradition custody. This has been ordered by the Berlin Court of Appeal. This means that in the next step, the court will examine whether the prison conditions in Hungary allow Maja to be extradited to Hungary. Maja faces up to 24 years in prison in Hungary under unspeakable conditions.

One of the ways in which the review will take place is for the court in Hungary to ask what they think of the prison conditions – including for queer prisoners. Hungary is then free to comment on this. That is absurd! The authoritarian and radical right-wing Fidesz party under Orban has been in power in Hungary for years and bans queers, antifas and refugees. The regime also pursues an unparalleled historical revisionist cultural policy.

Most recently, Hanna was caught by the cops on May 6 and dragged to the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe. Hanna is now also threatened with extradition to Hungary.

Once again, Federal Prosecutor General Geilhorn and her cohorts are investigating left-wingers with the utmost severity. We already know their attitude well enough from the Antifa Ost proceedings: anti-communist and deeply reactionary!

We want to prevent their extradition at all costs and put pressure on the authorities and the prison. Maja must not be extradited. Hanna must not be extradited. The decision on their proceedings will also be groundbreaking for all further proceedings!

We demand: No extradition of anti-fascists to Hungary to a court filled with right-wing extremists! Take to the streets against the shift to the right and repression.

We want to show Maja – as we do every month – that we are there and that we stand in solidarity on the other side of the wall and will not leave Maja alone.

So come to the prison in large numbers on Wednesday from 3 to 4 pm and be loud with us!

Ralley – Stop Russian propaganda!

STROMWERK | Kulturarena Kraftwerk Mitte

(Attention! Place changed!)

On May 23, there will be an event about Russia with Roger Köppel at 7 pm. It is being organized by the AfD-affiliated Mittelstandsforum in STROMWERK | Kulturarena in Kraftwerk Mitte.
After the former Moscow correspondent of ARD 1987-1991 Krone-Schmalz was invited, she will now be replaced by Roger Köppel. Köppel is editor-in-chief of the Swiss newspaper Weltwoche, was at times a politician for the Swiss SVP and also has strong sympathies for Putin.

We support the call to critically accompany this event.
No place for Russian propaganda in Dresden and elsewhere!

Russia is not only waging imperialist wars in Ukraine and in the past in other former Soviet regions. Russia is also supporting wars in Syria, Libya, Sudan, the Central African Republic and Mali. And with the help of publicists such as Krone-Schmalz and Roger Köppel, Russia is also waging a war of disinformation and supporting pro-Russian, often right-wing populist to radical right-wing parties and initiatives in Europe and the USA. Germany is a particular focus.

This year, state elections will be held in Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg. Not only is a party that wants to deport millions of people leading in the polls. According to current polls, pro-Russian parties such as AfD, BSW and Free Saxony will win a majority in the state elections.

Nationalism, consumerism and racism are the values that the AfD and other Russia supporters like about the “Russian world”. Values that criminalize queer people, for example, and reject an open and diverse society.

If we don’t stop Russian disinformation and pro-Russian parties, Putin will succeed with his war. The “Russian world” will expand further west and threaten our freedom too!

Come to the rally!

Anarchist Mayday 2024 in Dresden

We work. Day after day, year after year. Whether at home, at work, at university or in training. But for us, it’s not just work, it’s always a struggle. We fight for better wages, fight against patriarchal conditions in reproductive and care work, fight for socially just and self-determined education, fight in a state that is becoming more and more authoritarian and repressive and is moving ever further to the right. Fighting because we have nothing else left!

Fallen, but not forgotten! – Film and memorial event for anarchists killed in Ukraine

One year ago, on April 19, the Russian state killed three anarchists who were fighting against the invading forces in Ukraine. Finbar Cafferkey, Cooper Andrews and Dmitry Petrov died defending Bakhmut from the so-called Russian world. They were not the first anarchists to die fighting the Russian Empire. Unfortunately, they will not be the last.
