Also this year there was a powerful and emotional rally in front of the prison in Chemnitz as part of the feminist struggle day. For seven years now we have been there to support the people in women’s prison, to raise the issue of gender-specific problems in the prison system and to demand the abolition of all prisons.
After one year, the war in Ukraine has become everyday life. For people here who are not directly affected, life simply goes on. Therefore, it was especially important for us to pause and commemorate on this anniversary of the full invasion by Russian troops.
This Saturday we are going to Chemnitz to the feminist anarchist anti-prison rally. There will be joint train journeys from Dresden and Leipzig! More information below. Bring your friends, flags and banners to the rally!
There will be the phenomenal flag choreo again this year! We call on everyone to join in! Bring scarves or flags and use this video to practice with your friends:

It is done! Harald is free! We send a huge thank you to everyone who spread the campaign and supported it in any way.
In only 7 days solidaric neighbors donated enough money to buy him free from the inhumane prison system. From an exchange of letters it is clear that he and the other prisoners are not doing well there. The prisoners refer to the JVA Bautzen as the „yellow misery“.
