The struggle for the „right“ positioning runs through the leftist press, all online platforms and is also reflected in the streets. Symbolically and perhaps also practically, aid campaigns and fundraising for Operation Solidarity¹ and actions against NATO troop deployments are facing each other.

Since earliest times, anarchists have been fighting for the workers’ movement, be it through militant strikes like the enforcement of the legal recognition of the 8-hour day, by distributing their own newspapers or as a driving force in trade unions.May Day is anarchist in nature and should be used to commemorate achievements and develop further ideas for a better society.

Demonstration in solidarity with the people in Ukraine and on the run – 04.03.22 4pm Jorge-Gomondai-Platz, Dresden

War has been raging in Ukraine since last Thursday. There is new information every hour, almost every minute, but the situation remains unclear. Many people are currently trying to escape the war. Many people in Ukraine, who have actively resisted Russia’s increasing influence in recent years and who would face persecution in the event of annexation, are also fleeing.
Self-organized aid structures are emerging, donation campaigns, volunteers are driving to borders to help people flee Ukraine.

Spontaneous demonstration today in Dresden against the war in Ukraine

Today in Dresden took place a spontaneous demonstration against the invasion of Russian soldiers in Ukraine, in which 250 people participated. The event began at Albertplatz with speeches from various speakers and groups. Afterwards there was a demo across the pedestrian street to Neumarkt, where people could join a vigil with over 1000 people.
