Anti-authoritarians at war – a documentary by Manon Boltansky and Nico Dix

“Anti-Authoritarians at War”, a documentary by Manon Boltansky and Nico Dix, was filmed in summer 2024 in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Izium. It follows the people behind the Solidarity Collectives, both those at the forefront and those working behind the scenes. The film illustrates how people make everyday decisions under extreme pressure and how grassroots, non-hierarchical organizing persists even during war.

The film looks at difficult choices, organizing under fire, and solidarity that goes beyond borders.

SOLIDARITY COLLECTIVES is a network of volunteers and activists who support people affected by the war in Ukraine. SC provides humanitarian aid, medical supplies, evacuation support, protective gear, and logistics. Their work is based on mutual aid, horizontal organizing, and international solidarity.

Centuries of militarism of russian empire – from soviet myths of fighting against militarism to modern expansion into the whole world.

For some parts of authoritarian left Russia myth around soviet union was heavily rooted into anti-imperialism and constant struggle for the global revolution. Over 30 years after collapse of the bolsheviks regime we can look at the history of that formation and how it continued imperial policies of the russian empire before the revolution of 1917. We will also have a look at the modern Russian state that finds itself in the permanent war and continuous militarization despite promises of ending Cold War.

We will also have a look at the responses of russian anarchist, leftist and liberal circles to different rounds of wars started by the last dictator of russia Vladimir Putin and why war in Ukraine can break the back of the Emperor.

5 years of uprising in Belarus – exhibition, guided tours & events

07. until 16. October 2025
daily 3-6 pm
at Hole of Fame, Königsbrückerstr. 39, 01099 Dresden

August 9, 2025 marked five years since the uprising in Belarus against Lukashenko’s authoritarian regime. The biggest uprising Belarus had seen since its independence. All parts of the society took to the streets. Since then, people in Belarus have been persecuted for participating in the protests and sent to prisons and camps. The repression continues to this day. At the beginning of September 1187 people were counted as political prisoners.

We would like to take this anniversary as an opportunity to look back at what happened then and how the repression continues to affect people today.

In a photo exhibition, we show the first three nights of the protests in 2020 and the reaction to the massive police violence. We look at specific social groups that participated in the protests and the importance of neighborhood meetings in the uprising. Furthermore, the exhibition shows the extent to which anarchist groups were involved in the events. And the perspective of those imprisoned will be represented through their artistic work created in prison. The specific situation in women’s prisons is also addressed.

Opening event – Tuesday, October 7, 2025 | 7 p.m.

Rally 24.05: Free Maja! Free Hanna! Freedom for all Antifas!

Rally May 24, 15:00 Robinienhain, JVA Hammerweg

Maja is still in prison in Dresden. But now in extradition custody. This has been ordered by the Berlin Court of Appeal. This means that in the next step, the court will examine whether the prison conditions in Hungary allow Maja to be extradited to Hungary. Maja faces up to 24 years in prison in Hungary under unspeakable conditions.

One of the ways in which the review will take place is for the court in Hungary to ask what they think of the prison conditions – including for queer prisoners. Hungary is then free to comment on this. That is absurd! The authoritarian and radical right-wing Fidesz party under Orban has been in power in Hungary for years and bans queers, antifas and refugees. The regime also pursues an unparalleled historical revisionist cultural policy.

Most recently, Hanna was caught by the cops on May 6 and dragged to the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe. Hanna is now also threatened with extradition to Hungary.

Once again, Federal Prosecutor General Geilhorn and her cohorts are investigating left-wingers with the utmost severity. We already know their attitude well enough from the Antifa Ost proceedings: anti-communist and deeply reactionary!

We want to prevent their extradition at all costs and put pressure on the authorities and the prison. Maja must not be extradited. Hanna must not be extradited. The decision on their proceedings will also be groundbreaking for all further proceedings!

We demand: No extradition of anti-fascists to Hungary to a court filled with right-wing extremists! Take to the streets against the shift to the right and repression.

We want to show Maja – as we do every month – that we are there and that we stand in solidarity on the other side of the wall and will not leave Maja alone.

So come to the prison in large numbers on Wednesday from 3 to 4 pm and be loud with us!
