We wanna conquer the Heaven

It’s been several weeks since the whole western world celebrated Christmas. Event that is sacred to one and annoying to the others. With consumption spree sky rocketing this days it is easy to believe that capitalists invented Christmas just to sell you presents for you relatives and friends. However beyond consumption Christmas is still a strong religious holiday, with hundreds of millions of people participating in its celebration.

In this issue we would like to touch shortly the issue of religion and what approaches anarchists have to religion and faith in general. It is worth mentioning that in this material we will be talking not only about Christianity, but also Islam and Judaism – three quite common ones for the “western” world including Germany.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor might be well known to those who were around punk/post-rock scene for quite. The band that dissapearred in 2003 just to get back together in 2010 made a lot of noise not only because of their dark ambient/post-rock/experimental music, but also because of the attitude to the music itself. After many years around it is still sticking to the underground scene around the world, with shows differing from place to place.

Circle-A Release Party – 11.11 16:00

It’s been 3 months since release of the first Circle-A to the streets of Dresden. We were working hard to get second issue of the magazine to the city.

So did you like the last magazine? Did you already quit your party membership and joined the anarchists? Or you are intrigued to dive first time into world of anarchism where state is not welcomed?

Than please join us at Circle-A release party on 11.11 at 16:00 in Malobeo (Kamenzer Straße 38) – we will have good music, fancy food, interesting talks and of course a quiz on anarchism! So get ready and prepare your party suite!

24.06.2017 Open meeting of Anarchist Network Dresden

We would like to invite you to the next open meeting of our network that will happen in Alaunpark at 12:00 on 24.06.2017.

As the meeting takes place at 12:00 we would like to have a nice brunch together in informal atmosphere. That means there will be space for just chatting with each other rather than having a formal meeting.

During brunch we will also have a short introduction into network for those new to it. So feel free to come even if you were not there before!

After brunch we will have a short round of what was going on, shortly discuss pressing topics and move as usual to the smaller groups where you can join directly existing initiatives, or form up new ones that might be of interest for you!

For now existing project that are open for participation are:

1. Anarchist Radio
2. Organizing group of libertarian days
3. Anarchist newspaper/magazine for Dreden
4. Promotion of the network in the city

Existing groups doesn’t mean that you can’t initiate your own topic that you consider of interest! Just come and speak to us – we are open for suggestions.

First edition of Dresden anarchist Info-bulletin

There is a lot of information available on internet about everything that is happening in Dresden and outside of the city. Sometimes it feels that there is just too much and it is easy to get lost in all the available information. Instead of starting yet another website with information about anarchism in Dresden we would like to get back to paper and compile information through that old way of communication.

That’s why some of us in Anarchist Network Dresden decided to start the project of info-bulletin, where we gather different news, articles and events to publish every three month in Dresden and distribute among those who might be interested in this information.

Please send us your events, analytical articles, graphic work, comics, short stories or just reviews of actions that you would like to share with people. It is worth noting that our plan is to focus more on Dresden and not on everything together – for that there are bigger editions, for example Gaidao or Direkt Aktion.

The deadline for the materials is 15.07.2017 – the first edition is expected to be printed at the end of July 2017.
